Can every Ohio business choose an electricity supplier?
No. Choice generally applies to eligible accounts served by the six investor-owned electric utilities. Municipal and cooperative accounts generally cannot choose a retail supplier. Confirm the utility on each bill.
Do I need to upload a bill to ask a question?
No. Start with your business, delivery utility and question. Do not include account numbers or bill attachments. Appropriate document sharing can be arranged after contact.
Does a cheaper supply rate lower the whole bill by the same percentage?
No. Supply is only part of the bill. Delivery charges and other tariff-based items remain. Compare the same components, dates, fees and contract terms.
